Maximal Captivity of Oblivion Reborn

Hey i´ve got a crazy Idea in my mind and to make this real i want to know how many players could be connected by Oblivion Reborn if the .esm is specially changed for this.
My plan would be a new game based on Oblivion.Like MMORPGs but with the controls and the Gameplay of Oblivion.So please awnser me :D .

I would think thats illegal lol. If you arent careful, you could get sued if you really try to produce a game with Oblivions textures. The textures in Oblivion is owned by Bethesda Softworks, so they could easily press charges on whoever is dumb enough to use Oblivions textures to create a copy cat of Oblivion itself.

No it´s not illegal.I would make completely new meshes and textures and the oblivion.exe would be needed.So read it.There stands that you can change the game as much as you want as long you do not change the Oblivion.esm and as long as oblivion.exe(legal version of Oblivion) is needed to play it.If I make a new .esm and ask qwerty-games for a special-version of Oblivion Reborn with more players and specially passed for this mod it will work and it will be absolutly legal. Then it´s not more than a very big Mod with an Onlinemode. I can ask Bethesda if you think that i´m wrong.I don´t wont to do something illegal!

Well, why not try to help develop for Oblivion Reborn if your experienced in developing? Im sure they could use the help. Then once they AT LEAST have a working online mod for everyone to use, you can start working on your separate project. Hell, maybe some developers would help you too :)
